Tour Montparnasse Go up to the top of the Tour Montparnasse rather than the Eiffel Tower . You get fantastic views ( including of the Eiffel Tower ) , there 's a cheap bar at the top, there are no queues , it's reasonably cheap to go up , and you can go outside onto the roof of the building to admire the views . Incredible and SO much better than the Eiffel Tower experience.

Hotel Delavigne

We have received a lot of help in planning trips and were given a warm welcome from the charming staff of this hotel and treated like friends. The rooms were comfortable, clean and suitable for us as a nightly resting place. We enjoyed the delightful breakfast with pastries, fruit, bread or toast and fabulous coffee every morning. The hotel is in a nice area. We felt safe and enjoyed the cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. It is close to the Notre Dame and many buses run through this area. We would definitely come here again when we are in Paris.

Our 99 rooms and 1 suite (75% are non smoking) have air conditioning. They are all fitted with LCD TV, Pay TV, minibar, individual safe. Some of them are designed for up to 3 people. They sometimes have a private terrace with a panoramic view. For your meetings, the Holiday Inn Paris Montparnasse - Avenue du Maine has 3 major meeting rooms and 1 small room; all illuminated by natural light and can accept up to 80 people. They are air conditioned and are fully equipped with the latest technology (LCD TV, Video projector)Les

 The hotel is conveniently positioned close to bus, rail and metro stations to give you quick and easy access to the major attractions in and around Paris. In addition, the 14th arrondissement has a wonderful range of well-priced, good quality restaurants serving excellent food in attractive surroundings. The Cartier Foundation/Fondation Cartier for contemporary arts is less than 10-minute walk away and the famous market and jazz venues on rue Daguerre are even closer! My only negative comment was the breakfast - which at 15 euros was not very good value for money. Almost all the cafes in the vicinity served similar continental breakfast options for between 7.50-10 euros.

Hotel Saint-Louis Saintonge

Any opinions on this hotel, or, its location at 16, rue de Saintonge in the third? It appears to be roughly a half a mile walk to the Place des Vosges (10 minutes), a 5 minutes walk from Jacques Genin (chocolate), a 5 minute walk in the other direction from Breizh Cafe (good reviews), and a ten minute walk from the Musee Carnavalet.

It also appears to be a sister hotel to the Hotel Saint-Louis en l'isle. Recent full renovations, three stars.
